Play Along the Way - Rectangle Rock

While out riding the Bonneville Shoreline trail south of Ogden Canyon in Ogden, UT. I noticed a relatively flat rectangle shaped rock about 7’ x 5’ wide and 2’ tall. The intuitive method of mountain bike skill-building builds in a natural curiosity about how we view simple objects around us. Countless other riders had no doubt passed this same simple benign rock without a second thought, but my eyes went straight for it. I automatically perceived it to be a “trail feature” that I could at least attempt to ride up and onto.
